Hello friends, thank you so much for stopping by for a visit today! I am so excited to be participating in Beverly's Pink Saturday Tour. I have been wanting to play along for the longest time, but this is the first time I've had my act together to have anything to present.
I purchased this pink Sunbeam mixer last fall for a song, but it was missing its original beaters. I looked on Ebay for a replacement set, but I was always either too impatient to wait and bid or the "buy it now" price was more than I had paid for the mixer itself. A couple of weeks ago, I went to my local Goodwill store and happened upon a set of beaters that looked to be a match. They were only $1, so I figured that if they didn't work it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Much to my delight, they were a perfect fit! Now that my mixer is complete, I had to show it off. I made this little vignette in my kitchen along with some other of my favorite goodies. My adorable framed print from Jenny and Aaron's Kitchenology Series fits perfectly into the mix along with my sprinkles rack. That's right, some folks have a spice rack but not me, I have a sprinkles rack. Gotta keep it interesting!
Hope you have fun visiting the other participants in today's tour. For a complete links list pop over to Beverly's blog. Happy Day!

Alright I am jealous!!!! I have a pink kitchen aid but is not so cute!! I may have to borrow the sprinkle rack idea, because it's fabulous.
What an adorable vignette you have created. I love the pink mixer and that is a great story of how you found the beaters.
Oh, that pink mixer is fabu! My grandma had a pink kitchen back in the 1950s and it would have fit perfectly. :) LOVE the sprinkles rack--that is brilliant! So happy. :)

Pink Saturday always makes the cold days in northern Michigan so much warmer. Thank y♥u for sharing with us this week. Your bl♥g is beautiful.
Your mixer is wonderful. Glad you were able to find the beaters. A sprinkle rack...great idea.
Now that makes everything taste and look better doesn't it? I love it.
I had a bright red one...gave it away. It didn't match my kitchen anymore. Now I'm looking for a pink one. Lucky you.
Happy PS

That is too cute! If I would have found a pink mixer like that I would have jumped up and down. Ok. I would have waited 'till I got home to jump up and down so that the people wouldn't know how wonderful their mixer really is and up their price. :)
Melissa,
I'm new to Pink Saturday and I just wanted to stop by to say "hello". You have quite the "pinkness going on. Sweet vignette!

Isn't it the best feeling when you find something at a thrift store you've really been needing?

My mom had a mixer just like that one,but not as cute as that one, it was white. Very good job on Pink Saturday!
Hi it's me again! I just went to Williams Sonoma to look at the new Easter stuff, and they have the bunny plates out again. One thing though, they look a bit different this year. I'm trying to decide if I like them or not. There is a round platter that is very pretty, but I'm not sure about the individual dessert plates. I will however get the glasses this year :) Thought I'd let you know.
