Time for Tea!

When the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat pocket and looked at it and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet. Burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it and was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit hole. In another moment, down went Alice after it, never once considering how she would get out again...
She had not gone much farther before she came in sight of the house of the March Hare. There was a table set out front of the house, and the March Hare and the Mad Hatter were having tea at it.
The table was a large one, but all present were crowded together at one corner of it.
"Have some wine," the March Hare said encouragingly.
Alice looked all around the table, but there was nothing on it but tea.
The Hatter went on in a mournful tone, "It's always six o' clock." A bright idea came into Alice's head. "Is that the reason so many tea things are put out here?" she asked.
"Yes, that's it," said the Hatter with a sigh. "It's always teatime, and we've no time to wash the things."
"Then you keep moving round, I suppose, " said Alice.
"Exactly so," said the Hatter, "as things get used up."
"But what happens when you come back to the beginning again?" Alice ventured to ask.
"Suppose we change the subject," the March Hare interrupted, yawning.
Follow Alice on the rest of her adventures by picking up a road map from our FABULOUS hostess Vanessa. You'll love all the twists and turns along the way. Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Day!

I don't I want to be always tea time cause then there would be nothing to look forward to :-) I like to think that it is so much more exciting if there's something to wait about. The anticipation of something very beautiful to happen is way more enjoyable :-)

Melissa, I think this is one of the cutest tablescapes I've ever seen! Just charming and delightful!

I wanted you to know that I know I'm the March Hare here and terribly late for a very important thank you to you on my blog, but I blogged about your wonderful cookie jar today. I wanted it to go in a special post, and I figured out how to include it in a Tablescape Thursday one. I've had the pictures for a long time. I took a bunch of them to try and show it off at its best angles! :-)

Again, I love it, Melissa, and you were very sweet and thoughtful to share it with my in your blog drawing. I feel enormously blessed, and it greets me with its cheerful little bird every day in my kitchen!

All the best and many thanks...

XO,

Sheila :-)
