A Clockwork Pink

Without really intending to, I have started collecting alarm clocks. The crazy thing is while I love the way they look, I cannot stand to hearing them tick. No, you don't need to alert the police. It's not one of those Tell-Tale Heart scenarios. It's just one of those peevish things to me like the drip, drip, dripping sound of water, or the drum, drum, drumming of anxious fingers. Distracting. Annoying. Unnerving.
So despite my best intentions, I have once again opted for "form" over "function." Story of my life. Hope the dogs don't get any bright ideas as to how to make these little beauties functional.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! For a glimpse at other pink follies, pop over to the blog of our delightful hostess Beverly for a list of all of the day's participants.

I know what you mean - they are adorable but that ticking can drive you a little coo-coo when you want to sleep.

I ♥ to come here on Pink Saturday. Your blog is always so sweet and comforting. Cold and gloomy winter up here this year so Pink Saturday is one day I can always count on for a little pink ray of sunshine.

Thanks for being my pink sunshine today☺

Wishing you the comfort and warmth of those you love this weekend.

Tick Tock. I think that alarm clocks sound like a leaking faucet. Form of alarm clocks are quite interesting for sure. Adore your post of the alarm clocks and dogs.

That cracks me up! I too, have unplanned collections. And an alarm clock collection, most of which don't work. Sort of ironic since I am always late...

Happy belated Pink Saturday,
Judy

I love old clocks too, but just can't use one. I like dependability and would always forget to wind it. I'm on the hunt for a gorgeous electric alarm clock, but have never seen one. If you know of any sources, please let me know!
