October is here, and it is time once again to dust off my sewing machine and get to work on my daughter's Halloween costume. She is going to have a poodle skirt, ponytail and cat eye glasses. I figure since she is four, this might be my last shot to have a say in what she wears. Even now that's debatable seeing as how she has been telling me she is going to be a cat!?! Funny how kids become so decisive after the fabric for the "other" costume has been cut and purchased. Nice. Anyway, I'm sticking to my plan and making the perfect "bobby soxer" outfit. Wish me luck on the project. Hopefully cutting and sewing a little felt won't lead to a repeat of Swearfest 2008. I'll keep you posted.
If you'd like to take a peek at what the other Pink Ladies are up to, hand jive over to the blog of our fabulous hostess Beverly. Happy Day!

How fun your pink goodies are! I love the measuring tape and poodle. Are you going to put the poodle someplace?
She's going to be darling in that outfit. Hope you'll take her picture and share it with us.

Good luck, that is going to be adorable. I can't wait to see the finished project. Enjoy your last Halloween with a say. : )
She'll love the costume. It's scary to realize that what we once wore to school is now a costume :-) I hope you can find a pair of saddle shoes to complete the outfit.
I adore poodle skirts! She'll love it. Be sure to show us when you finish!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Making Halloween costumes for my children were always a highlight for me and now I'm sewing a cupcake one for my first Grandbaby, Madison, for this year! I love your poodle and she'll be adorable, I'm sure! Happy Pink SAturday! Suzie
I think we would all love to see your daughter in her poodle skirt. What fun, Happy Pink Saturday, Char
Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile...
Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 - 17☺
Hope the coming week blesses you with sunshine, happiness and good friends.
I bet she is going to love the outfit! How fun that you are making it!
Oh, that will be an adorable costume!
Happy Pink Saturday!
XO,
Sheila :-)
