Chatterbox

From the time my three year old wakes, until it's time for her to go to sleep again, she is either talking or singing. Non-stop. From sun up til sundown. Without ceasing. All day. Constantly.
I bought this journal from Rebecca Sower over a year ago, but I have never used it. Truth be told it was misplaced amid my stacks of magazines, catalogs and books and I could not find it until now. When I rediscovered it, I immediately thought it would be the perfect place to record the ramblings of my girl. And what better time to start my little endeavor than at the beginning of the year. Here are a few of the quotes I have so far...

"Mama, I'm going to tell you a question."

"When I get bigger I can have gum."

"We need to go to Walgreens to get an OveGlove to do cooking."

Who knew OveGlove's target market was three year olds?
By the way, thanks so much for your love and concern over my "sports" injury. The shoulder is feeling much better. So I'm wondering...What kind of pitfalls do you see to playing RockBand?

I have a little book that I try to put down the funny or cute little things that my two kids do. I have for my daughter and one just for my son. I need to get them out again! Just today he looked at me this morning while I was still in bed and said, "Mommy, you have freckles". I didn't even know he knew what a freckle was??? I know he is 4 but he has an older sister 11 that used to do all of his talking for him. He is now saying things that I didn't know he could say, if you know what I mean? lol
Take care,
Angela

So funny! I am completely with you on the 3 year old life! All day: talking, singing and talking some more! When Scarlet doesn't like what I tell her she says: "say that again and you're going to be fired!" (who new she was a Trump fan?)

Oh, she will really get a kick out of that when she is older. I did a bit of that when my first daughter was little, but stopped. What I have is pretty funny though.
I read your other post on your injury, and I fell for you. I hurt my shoulder December 07,and it hasn't been the same since. I hope yours doesn't do what mine does :( I hurt mine using special weights in my water aerobics class.

Okay, those are the sweetest little sentences I've ever laid ears on! I love that you're keeping a journal of them, and what a perfect journal it is! xo
